Parents have the ability to block non-emergency messages from SchoolStatus, but often have a change of heart and want to resubscribe. We now have a simple self-service way for you to check the status of your subscription to messages, resubscribe if needed, or stop the messages if you choose.

To check your Subscription Status

Text STATUS to 939393 to check the status of a subscription to messages from SchoolStatus. You will receive an auto-reply that lets you know whether or not you are already subscribed to receive messages from your child’s school.

To subscribe to School Status Text Messages

Text START to 939393 to subscribe to messages from your child’s school. You will receive an auto-reply message that lets you know that you have been subscribed to receiving those messages.

To unsubscribe from School Status Text Messages

Text STOP to 939393 to unsubscribe from messages from your child’s school. You will receive an auto-reply message that lets you know that you have been unsubscribed from those messages.

To resubscribe from School Status Email Messages

Once a recipient has unsubscribed, PWCS staff cannot resubscribe them without that recipient taking action. The parent or guardian must initiate the resubscribe by emailing: [email protected]
