School counselors at Ronald Wilson Reagan Middle School believe:

  • All students are deserving of complete access to the school counseling program to make a difference in improving their academic, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Counselors are committed to advocate for each student as well as to assist students in developing skills to advocate for themselves.
  • Reagan Middle School counseling program should be developmental and preventative in nature, striving to incorporate research-based ideas, strategies and techniques driven by data.
  • The American School Counselor Association ethical standards will empower Reagan Middle School counselors to make decisions based on the highest moral principles to promote student lifelong learning and success.
RRMS Counseling Department Vision Statement

Ronald Wilson Reagan Middle School students will be contributing citizens striving to achieve their highest potential with to assume leadership roles in their chosen life path. Students will display respect, integrity, discipline, enthusiasm and responsibility while making positive contributions to society. Students will demonstrate problem-solving strategies, coping skills, resiliency and cultural awareness as they pursue lifelong learning and individual life goals.

The mission of the Ronald Wilson Reagan Middle School counseling department is to develop student academic, career, and personal/social success by providing all students with a comprehensive school counseling program and developing relationships with students that foster a sense of belonging and acceptance as well as a strong connection to adults in the school community.
