Mr. St. Pierre is a PhD candidate in Music Education at George Mason University. He has been the chorus teacher at Ronald Reagan Middle School since the school opened in 2012. This is his ninth year as a music educator having taught at the elementary, middle school, and university levels. Mr. St. Pierre holds a Master of Education Degree in Kodàly Music Education from Loyola University Maryland as well as a Bachelor of Music Degree from The Hartt School, University of Hartford. He has studied voice with James K. McKully, Wayne Rivera, and Lynn McCartney as well as conducting with Edward Bolkovac, Ellen Gilson Voth, and Glen Adsit. Mr. St. Pierre's teaching style is informed not only by strong methodology, but also by a knowledge of how children learn as described by the research of Edwin Gordon and Music Learning Theory.
