Wellness and Walk Fair

Since we cannot hold our 1st Annual Wellness Walk in person next Saturday, May 2, we have decided to hold the walk virtually this year! We have created a page that we hope to use for this event, and in addition, carry forward to our second annual event next year.

Next week, to prepare for the virtual walk, you're invited to join us in the following!

1) Follow the below page--give it a LIKE! Feel free to share the page with others.

2) Participate in Wellness Week (Apr. 27-May 1) by posting your photos of each Spirit Day to the page! (and to your own social media, if you'd like, using #bobcatwellness--see the days below).

3) Join us by wearing GREEN  for mental wellness on Saturday, May 2, in whatever "activity" you choose to do (while maintaining social distance), run/walk a 5k, do some yoga, dance in your living room, etc. Again, post your picture! Use #wellnessworkswonders #wechoosewellness and #bobcatwellness

4) We also just created BHS Wellness Committee on Instagram (bhswellness), so give that a follow and tag the page if you post photos there!

Spirit Days--we've decided to do a virtual spirit week next week to promote mental health awareness and mental wellness, and to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges, especially during this difficult and unprecedented time. We encourage you to participate in the spirit days with your students and to post on here and anywhere else you'd like with the hashtags mentioned above.
